SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
June 26, 2006

To either of the Constables of the Town of Raynham, in the County of Bristol, GREETING.
IN THE NAME OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS, you are hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of said Town, qualified to vote in elections and in Town affairs, to meet at the Middle School Auditorium in said Raynham, on the 26th day of June, at 7:00 in the evening, then and there to act on the following Articles:--
ARTICLE 1. To see if the Town will vote to reduce the amount raised and appropriated for the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District (line item 109) at the May 15, 2006 Annual Town Meeting from $10,916,955 to $10,504,373, or take any action relative thereto.
ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $165,000 and to give said amount as a gift to the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 71, section 37A to hire two additional teachers for the Raynham Middle School and one additional teacher for the elementary school, or take any action relative thereto. (Submitted by the Board of Selectmen)
ARTICLE 3. To see if the Town will vote to rescind Article 29 of the Annual Town Meeting of May 15, 2006, or take any action relative thereto.
ARTICLE 4. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of $1,195,593 as categorized below to operate the sewer enterprise:
Salaries and Wages 394,593.00
Expenses 746,400.00
Health Insurance 54,600.00
Total $1,195,593.00
And that the $1,195,593.00 be raised from sewer enterprise revenues; or take any other action relative thereto. (Submitted by the Sewer Commissioners)
Supplemental Informational Note: Finance committee recommends the following for full operation of the sewer enterprise:
Salaries and Wages 394,593
Expenses 746,400
Health Insurance 54,600
Indirect Costs 54,000
Debt 1,545,012
$2,794,605
$1,195,593.00 to come from sewer enterprise revenues, $54,000.00 for indirect costs appropriated in the general fund and funded from sewer enterprise revenues, and $1,545,012.00 for debt appropriated in the general fund from the tax levy.
ARTICLE 5. To see if the Town will vote to transfer $5,000 from the Park and Recreation Child Care Revolving Account to the Park and Recreation Programs Account, or take any action relative thereto.
And you are directed to serve this Warrant, by posting up attested copies thereof at the seven (7) places directed by vote of the Town, in said Town, fourteen (14) days before the time of holding said meeting.
HEREOF FAIL NOT, and make due return of this Warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, at the time and place of meeting, as aforesaid.
