                 ANNUAL RAYNHAM CANDIDATES’ NIGHT

All candidates appearing on the ballot in the Annual Town Election are invited to participate in the Annual Raynham Candidates’ Night, which will be held in the Selectmen’s meeting room at Veterans Memorial Town Hall located at 558 South Main Street on Tuesday, April 18th, beginning at 5:30 p.m. and telecast live on the Raynham Cable Channel.

The Annual Candidates’ Night event has been sponsored by the Raynham
Cable Channel and telecast live every year that there has been a contested
race since 1988. An election season tradition in town, the event has garnered excellent participation on the part of eligible candidates.

The two contested races include a two-way race for a three-year term on the Board of Assessors and a two-way race for a three-year term as one of the Raynham members of the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School Committee. The candidates for the Assessor’s position currently held by Jack Leddy include Joseph Bickel and Chris Gallagher. The candidates for the School Committee position currently held by Lorraine Levy include Louis D’Amarino and Kevin Moreira.

Candidates who are running unopposed are also invited to participate in the forum.

Interested members of the public are also invited to attend. Doors will open for those who wish to attend at 5:00 p.m. with the live telecast scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. The event is scheduled for one hour and will conclude prior to the weekly Selectmen’s meeting.

The program will be replayed several times on the Raynham Channel before the Annual Town Election on Saturday, April 22nd.
