~ ~~~Fee is determined by the following formula: total sq. feet of living area X $.60 = Fee
~~~~ PLUS total sq. ft. of decks, garages, and sheds X $.45 = Fee
Living Area Additions - $.60 per square foot - $50.00 Minimum
Accessory Structure Additions - $.45 per square foot - $50.00 Minimum
Alterations with structural changes - $.60 per square foot - $50.00 Minimum
Alterations with no structural changes - $.45 per square foot - $50.00 Minimum
Replacement projects – Siding, Roofing, or Replacement Windows/Doors - $50.00
Pools~~~ Above Ground - $40.00
~~~~~~~~~~~ Inground – $80.00~
Demolition - $50.00
Mobile Home - $400.00
Temporary Mobile Home - $200.00 (valid up to 1 year)
Woodstove/Pellet Stoves/Fireplaces/Chimney - $40.00
Fence (above 6’) - $50.00
Occupancy Permits - $50.00 per dwelling unit
Re-inspection - $40.00
Permit replacement - $30.00
Other Construction - $15 per $1000 - $50.00 Minimum

1. WHEN CALCULATING COST OF PERMIT, PLEASE ROUND OUT THE AMOUNT DUE: $.49 AND BELOW TO LOWER DOLLAR VALUE; $.50 AND ABOVE TO NEXT DOLLAR VALUE
2. BUILDING PERMITS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE AND FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.
3. WORK STARTED WITHOUT PERMIT – FEES SHALL BE DOUBLED, BUT THE PAYMENT OF SUCH FEE SHALL NOT AFFECT THE PENALTY FOR VIOLATION PRESCRIBED IN ARTICLE 1, SECTION 122.0 OF 780 CMR.~
