Chair Betty Thompson called the meeting to order at 9:45. Present were Betty Thompson, Yvonne Quinlan, Theresa Galligan, Patrice White and Peggy Evers. Excused were Joyce Rodrigue, Kathleen Roberts, John Montagano, and Loretta Wood. Kathleen arrived during the meeting.
Guests: Nancy Delorey announced that she is now licensed for reflexology and the board made plans for her to do reflexology sessions at the center.
Lisa, from SHINE, will present an informational program on the new Medicare cards.
Katie, from Park and Recreation, spoke about the Yoga lessons. Afterwards, the board voted to continue with our established policy on center use.
The secretary’s report was accepted and read.
The treasurer’s report was accepted.
Outreach: 3 meetings, 36 visits. Reports on SHINE visits that had complicated problems, Medicare discount cards Income Tax help at the center, Circuit Breaker, fuel assistance, Meals on Wheels.
Director’s report: none
Meetings: MCOA looking for Title 3 money BES recognition for Theresa Galligan for creating a beautiful quilt for their raffle. Crisis unit, presentation.
Correspondence: Poem and contribution from happy men who attend the Men Only Breakfasts.
Richard LaBonte, custodian in Leo Sorel’s absence, was introduced to the board.

a. Park and Rec. want to do another series of Yoga classes. Discussed and resolved at beginning of today’s meeting.

c. Spring Fling April 15, 2004 sup March 23, 24 & 25. Ragtime banjo entertainment, floral centerpieces, turkey dinner.
d. St Patrick’s party, corned beef and cabbage, sup March 2, 3 & 4 12 noon , guitar entertainment.
