Due to the financial crisis the Town finds itself in this budget year (2009), the Highway Department was asked to make suggestions to the Board of Selectmen so that the Solid Waste operation can function within the revenues the received. Changes including price increases and reduced hours of operation were presented to and accepted by the Board of Selectmen at the Selectmen’s meeting Tuesday, August 11, 2009.
