July 2, 2003 Minutes
The Raynham Planning Board held a special meeting on Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at Gilmore Hall.~ The meeting opened at 6:00 p.m. with Dan Andrade, Burke Fountain, Carl Carlson and Chris Gallagher present.~ Also present were Richard McCarthy, Town Planner, and Maureen McKenney, Administrative Assistant.

6:04 p.m. - Public hearing for Definitive Subdivision/Waiver of Frontage Plan for Ricardo Valle, 297 Orchard Street, reconvened.~ John Downey, P.E., Land Planning, Inc., Bellingham, MA, and Ricardo Valle were present.~

After brief discussion, the public hearing was closed.~ A motion was made to approve the plan; motion withdrawn.~ A letter from Highway Superintendent Roger Stolte, dated~June 17, 2003 was discussed.~ After discussion Board members agreed that concrete pins should be located at the bounds as requested in Mr. Stolte's letter.~ Motion was then made to approve the plan as presented to grant a waiver of frontage subject to concrete bounds being located at the lot line and Orchard Street; motion seconded; motion passed with three votes in favor and Mr. Fountain abstained.~ Certificate of Action will be issued.~

Mr. Valle informed the Board that he needed an occupancy permit to send to his bank.~ Building Commissioner Rod Palmer was present and Board members discussed the matter with him.~ After discussion, it was agreed that Mr. Palmer could issue a letter stating that a Certificate of Occupancy for 297 Orchard Street will be issued pending the 21-day appeal period of the Board's action.~

6:14 p.m. - Minutes of June 12, 2003 were received.~ Motion was made, seconded and unanimously approved to waive reading.~ A motion was made to approve the minutes as presented; seconded; motion passed by unanimous vote.

6:18 p.m. - Board members and Mr. McCarthy discussed revisions to Planning Board subdivision rules and regulations.~~~

The meeting adjourned at approximately 8:00 p.m.
