The Raynham Planning Board held a special meeting on Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at Gilmore Hall.~ The meeting opened at 6:00 p.m. with Daniel Andrade, Burke Fountain, Carl Carlson and Chris Gallagher present.~ Also present was Richard McCarthy.

At 6:05 Board members discussed a citizen’s petition submitted to the Board of Selectmen requesting the rezoning of a portion of Broadway from Business District to Designated Development District.~ After discussion, the Board voted to hold public hearing on the rezoning request on Wednesday, June 2, 2004, 6 p.m., at Town Hall if it is available or at the Senior Center as an alternative.

6:15 p.m. – Board members discussed revising the fee schedule. ~It was noted that presently a Form A plan is $200 plus $100 per lot; a preliminary plan is $1,500 plus $100 per lot; definitive plan 10,000 plus $1,000 per lot; and modified plan $2,500 plus $1,000 per lot affected.

Board members briefly discussed the status of Munro Electric.~ It was noted that Munro Electric will be reapplying for a special permit for parking reduction because the previous special permit was denied by the Board.

Subdivision phasing and revised rules and regulations were discussed.~ It was noted that Mr. Gallagher is continuing to review the rules and regulations for revision.
