KINDERGARTEN WRAPAROUND PROGRAM
Program Hours
The Raynham Park and Recreation Department offers a Kindergarten Wraparound Program for children enrolled at the Merrill School. The program operates throughout the full school day. The AM session – is for children enrolled in the afternoon public kindergarten (Hours: 8:50am – 12:50pm).
Program Description
The Kindergarten Wraparound Program is an extension of the kindergarten experience offering a curriculum which closely reflects the curriculum of the Bridgewater-Raynham School system. On a daily basis the children will engage in a variety of activities including academics, arts and crafts, stories, and physical activities. The student teacher ratio for this program is 10:1. The daily schedule is as follows:
AM Wraparound Schedule
8:50 - 9:10 am Children arrive at the program, hands on activities
9:10 – 9:30am Snack time
9:30 – 10:00am Playground
10:00 – 10:45am Story and related activity: Language Arts, Math, Science Art, Music, Social Studies
10:45 – 11:30am Centers: writing, games, books on tape, building, dramatic play, reading
11:40 – 12:10 pm Lunch
12:10 – 12:50pm Gym
Program Staff
Nadine Rudek-Kelly is the lead teacher for the Kindergarten Wraparound program. Nadine comes to the Park and Recreation program with 14 years experience teaching children in grades K-2nd. Nadine holds a Massachusetts State Teaching Certificate in addition to her teaching experience. Mrs. Rudek-Kelly has teacher’s assistants to help with the daily activities.

BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Grades: Kindergarten - 8th Grade
BEFORE SCHOOL CHILD CARE
Program Hours: 7am - Start of school day
This program is located at the L.B. Merrill School for children enrolled at the Merrill School and at the LaLiberte Elementary School for children in grades 2nd -8th. Children are dropped off by parents at the school as early as 7:00 am. The children participate in quiet activities along with a light breakfast. The students are dismissed or bused to their designated school for the start of the school day.

AFTER SCHOOL CHILD CARE
Program Hours: School Dismissal - 6:00 PM
Children in grades K-1st and 6th -8th arrive at the Laliberte Elementary School from their assigned schools each afternoon by school bus. Children enrolled in the LaLiberte Elementary School are dismissed directly to the Park and Recreation After School Program. The program is available from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. When the children arrive at the LaLiberte School they are provided with an afternoon snack. After snack time the children participate in a variety of activities including games, arts and crafts, science projects, outdoor play, gym time and homework help. Staff is available to help students with their homework during program hours.
