Date: May 9, 2006 Board of Selectmen
Meeting called to order at 7:04 PM.
Present were Donald L. McKinnon, Raymond W. Platt and John M. Donahue.
Mr. McKinnon stated that this was an emergency meeting regarding the re-paving of Pleasantfield streets due to some misunderstanding. He asked Mr. Stolte to explain the situation.
Mr. Stolte said the driving force behind the stone seal was cost—about $150,000 vs $350,000 for paving. He said he hoped to do some “leveling” before July 1 and stone sealing this summer. The stone seal would not be the same as the repairs to Forest St/King St.
Mr. McKinnon said before stone sealing took place, there would be a public meeting with residents of Pleasantfield.
7:14 PM Mr. Platt moved and Mr. Donahue seconded to recess until after the pre-Town Meeting when the Board would hold an Executive Session with Town Counsel regarding litigation. Mr. McKinnon made it unanimous.
Meeting called back to order at 8:54 PM. On a roll call vote, Mr. Platt, Mr. Donahue and Mr. McKinnon voted to go into Executive Session.
Respectfully submitted
Randall A. Buckner
Town Administrator
