BOARD OF SELECTMEN November 9, 2010
Chairman Marie Smith called the regular meeting of the Raynham Board of Selectmen to order at 6:30pm.
Present were Marie Smith, Donald L. McKinnon and Joseph Pacheco.
Acceptance of the Minutes -- Mr. McKinnon motioned and Mr. Pacheco seconded to accept the minutes of the November 2, 2010 meeting as printed. Mrs. Smith made it unanimous.
Mr. Buckner’s Town Administrator’s Report was reviewed.
Mr. Buckner informed the Board that there are two licenses available, All Alcoholic Liquor License and a Beer and Wine Liquor License. Mr. Buckner recommended opening the application process for three weeks. Mr. McKinnon motioned and Mr. Pacheco seconded to open the application process for the all-alcoholic beverage license. Mrs. Smith made it unanimous.
Mr. McKinnon motioned and Mr. Pacheco seconded to open the application process for a beer and wine license as well. Mrs. Smith made it unanimous.
Mr. Pacheco informed all that he attended the Open House last night in Taunton at Homes for Our Troops.
Mrs. Smith informed all that she attended the Grand Opening of Exit Reality over the weekend and a conference for the American Legion Auxiliary.
Correspondence – The Board received the following requests for Tag Days: Taunton High School Junior ROTC for December 23, 2010; Girl Scout Troop 75114 for December 27, 28 & 29, 2010; Eastern Girl Scout Troop for December 26, 30 & 31, 2010. Mr. McKinnon motioned and Mr. Pacheco seconded to approve the above-listed Tag Days. Mrs. Smith made it unanimous.
6:42pm-Mr. McKinnon motioned and Mr. Pacheco seconded to adjourn for the performance of administrative duties, signing Bills and Warrants, and an Executive Session with no business to be conducted afterwards. Mrs. Smith made it unanimous.
