SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

 

TOWN OF RAYNHAM

 

THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS

BRISTOL, ss

 

To either of the Constables of the Town of Raynham in the County of Bristol, GREETING.

 

IN THE NAME OF THE Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of said Town, qualified to vote in elections and in Town affairs, to meet at the Veteran’s Memorial Town Hall in said Raynham on Tuesday the 8th day of January two thousand-nineteen at 7:00 o’clock in the evening, then and there to act on the following Article:

 

ARTICLE 1.  To see if the Town will vote to transfer from Free Cash the sum of $28,465 for the first half of the current Fire Chief’s Retirement buyout for accumulated sick and vacation days, or take any action relative thereto. (Submitted by the Fire Department)     

 

ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from Free Cash the sum of $5,930 for the purpose of providing architectural renderings for improvements to the entranceway foyer at Veteran’s Memorial Town Hall, or take any action relative thereto. (Submitted by the Building Department)

 

And you are directed to serve this Warrant, by posting up attested copies thereof at the six (6) places directed by vote of the Town, in said Town, fourteen (14) days before the time of holding said meeting.

HEREOF FAIL NOT, and make due return of this Warrant, with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk, at the time and place of meeting, as aforesaid.
