Raynham Town Hall Re-opening Guide

In an effort to better serve the public, Town Hall will be re-opening to the public on Monday October 5, 2020. In an effort to maintain the health and safety of the public and employees, this re-opening will be with certain restrictions and new protocols in place.

Town Hall will be open to the public the following days and times:

  • Monday: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • Wednesday: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: Town Hall will be closed to the public to allow for increased cleaning and sanitizing. Staff will be at Town Hall and available for calls, emails, and appointments, as has been throughout the pandemic.

Please note:

  • Anyone needing to conduct business with a department is encouraged to do business with the department online, via phone call, using email or through regular mail wherever possible.
  • If an in-person transaction is required, it is encouraged to make an appointment.

If you visit Town Hall to conduct business, you are going to find the following changes:

  • Everyone entering Town Hall must adhere to the following new protocols.
    • If you are ill with COVID-19 or similar symptoms or have had recent exposure to COVID-19, please refrain from entering the building.
    • Please enter through the main back entrance only.   No other door in the Town Hall can be used to enter the building, so please take note when you park that you must enter through the main back entrance.
    • Town residents visiting the Town Hall will be expected to wear face coverings/masks unless medically unable to do so. If a resident does not have a face covering, a disposable face covering will be supplied to them so they may enter the Town Hall. Masks must be properly worn (completely covering nose and mouth) at all times while in the building.
    • Please limit use of the public restrooms.
    • Staircases are now directional and marked up and down; please use the stairs appropriately as indicated.
    • Only one passenger at a time may use the elevator unless you require assistance.
    • Internal offices should allow one visitor at a time.
    • People should be spaced accordingly in the Town Hall hallway with visitors being instructed via signage and markers to remain six feet apart. Proper social distancing should be utilized throughout the building.
    • Hand sanitizer will be placed at the front entrance door and throughout Town Hall. Use of hand sanitizer upon entering Town Hall is strongly recommended.
    • If possible, bring your own pen or other writing utensil.

  • Employees will be required to properly wear masks at all times while interacting with the public. Employees may remove masks once seated at desks if they so wish, as long as they are seated further than six feet away from their colleagues or separated by a plexiglass barrier.

  • Employees will only handle cash and checks while wearing appropriate personal protection.

These new protocols are for the safety of those conducting business in the Town Hall and the employees. Please adhere to the rules, or we may not be able to provide the services you require. Please note, this is subject to change at any time.
