Mr Flaherty is coordinating the Budgets and Warrants between Accounting and the Finance Committee for the Annual Town Meeting.  He is waiting on information from the schools, but everything seems to be coming together pretty well.

Mr. Flaherty, as Acting Health Agent has reviewed a subdivision plan; responded to two complaints; and consulted with Dr. Karen Reamsnyder who requested the Rabies Clinic be held on April 7th.  He will coordinate with the Fire Department as well as find out who the clinic would like to donate the proceeds to.

The next Selectmen’s meeting will be held on March 13th at 7:00 p.m.

Selectmen’s Report

Mrs. Smith wished everyone well through the storm and thanked both Fire and Police Departments and also the TMLP for all their hard work.

Mr. Pacheco requested the Health Department look at the Walmart parking lot on Paramount Drive. He said they need to take care of the trash situation. The parking lot is just disgusting.  They need to get somebody out there to clean it up immediately.  It’s not fair to the other businesses in the area. There is trash and bottles everywhere and there is a pre-school that abuts it.

Correspondence

Correspondence was received from the Commonwealth of Mass. regarding the lemon law and it discussed dealerships that are not complying with the law and what consumers options are and what to do in that event.  Mrs. Smith made a motion to set up a public hearing to discuss that, possibly the 20th, Mr. Pacheco seconded, and Mrs. Donahue made it unanimous.

A petition was received from the Clerk’s Office for s speed limit sign to be put on Whippoorwill Estates.  Mr. Pacheco requested it be taken under advisement.

A request for a public hearing for a change of manager at Applebee’s to be set for April 3rd.  Mr. Pacheco made a motion to accept, Mrs. Smith seconded and Mrs. Donahue made it unanimous.

Citizen and Community Input

Mr. John Cannistraro was present to address the Board.  He has offered to help the Town of Raynham with his services and through his ministry.

Ms. Pat Riley was present to make a change in the time of the public hearing for the school budget from March 7th to March 21st at 7:00 p.m. because of the impending storm.

Adjournment

7: 22 p.m. Mr. Pacheco motioned, and Mrs. Smith seconded to adjourn for the performance of administrative duties, signing of Bills and Warrants with no business to be conducted afterwards.  Mrs. Donahue made it unanimous.
