Recycling
There are separate, clearly marked containers for each type of recyclable material. Recycling is free of charge and helps reduce trash fees. More recycling means less trash! Recycle Smart MA -link Materials Raynham recycles: glass, tin cans, aluminum cans, newspaper, cardboard, milk cartons, plastics #1-5, bulky rigid plastics, metals (grills, lawn mowers) tires, all batteries, rechargeable batteries, button batteries, paint, wood, gypsum wallboard, propane tanks, mercury-containing products (thermostats & thermometers) and used motor oil. For your convenience two Salvation Army bins for textiles, including footwear, clothing, fashion accessories, linens, are located at the Transfer Station recycle area.
No tissues, paper towels, paper/cardboard contaminated with food products, gift wrap, juice boxes, wax or foil coated materials, or foamed polystyrene, aka Styrofoam. These items are all non-recyclable materials and should be placed in the trash.
